Boulevard is located at 1 Embarcadero, in the historic Audiffred Building built in 1889. It’s one of the city’s oldest remaining buildings from early San Francisco, City landmark #7.
The luncheon was offered as an auction item at the Foundation’s annual Authors Dinner held in early February. BPLF has raised more than $3.5m to renovate Berkeley’s main library and four branches. The current goal is to create a “Teen Center” in the main library building. The Berkeley Public Library offers Berkeley residents more than 300 viable programs and services such as how to read, use a computer, fill out a job application, make a budget and much, much more.
