Tour Historic Homes SUN May 19

Posted in BERKELEY, CLAREMONT HILLS, EVENTS, FUN THINGS TO DO, NEIGHBORHOOD on April 28, 2013 by Julie Nachtwey, the Claremont Hills Real Estate Expert

Friends,

HOUSE TOUR

On Sunday afternoon, May 19, from 1 to 5pm, you’re invited to attend the Spring House Tour presented by BAHA.  BAHA is Berkeley Architectural

Heritage Association founded in 1974.  Its mission is to educate people and preserve our rich architectural heritage.

HISTORIC HOMES

This year’s tour includes ten houses of architectural interest – including my home – on Alvarado Road plus one onAlvarado Place.  The tour is titled:

“CLAREMONT HILLS Historic Homes above the Claremont Hotel.”  These few blocks from Tunnel Road up to Vicente are survivors of the 1991 Firestorm.

Many well-known architects are represented by the houses built from 1909 to 1941.

TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE
